Supergirl
#53 Supergirl continues to adapt to her depowered and altered condition with the help of Superman, who has some tips on how to travel swiftly when leaping is the only available option. Meanwhile, Buzz is still being stalked, and something very nasty is brewing up in spite of a terrified mother's attempts to stop it -- and because of the interference of one Kyle Rayner, as well as Supergirl, neither of whom has any of the facts in hand before they act -- and by the time Linda understands, and gets going, it's too late. The issue is reasonably solid overall, but would definitely improve a couple of notches if David would start to throttle back on the jokes -- they have a habit of getting in the way. ©2000 by Steven E.
